CLARKSVILLE, TN — Concerns continue to build across the community surrounding the reported incident involving Montgomery Central High School student Mackenzie Ellithorpe.
As previously reported, Mackenzie was allegedly exposed to multiple nude photos of her teacher, Matt Vedder, on March 9th. More than three weeks later, the family says they still have not received clear updates regarding the investigation ⏳
Now, new developments are adding to the concern.
Both school board members Aron Maberry and Chris Lanier have publicly commented on the situation, stating that the issue involved a “broken link,” and that this was the only matter that was addressed or fixed.
That explanation is now being questioned by many in the community, as it appears to conflict with the seriousness of the allegations being reported 🤨
At the same time, reporting from 931Cville Media & News Company revealed that CMCSS revised its student sexual harassment policy on March 12th—just days after the incident. The timing of that change is raising eyebrows and prompting further scrutiny 👀
