🚨 CMCSS EMPLOYEE RESIGNED SAME DAY AS ARREST AT NORTHWEST HIGH SCHOOL

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. β€” A former Clarksville-Montgomery County School System employee resigned the same day she was arrested at Northwest High School on an alleged drug possession charge, according to records obtained by 931Cville Media & News Company.

πŸ“„ Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office records identify the woman as Kristen Michelle Watson, 41. According to the arrest report, Watson was taken into custody at Northwest High School on Aug. 31, 2026 after authorities alleged she was in possession of approximately 5 grams of cocaine.

πŸš” The report states a school resource officer transported Watson to the Montgomery County Jail. She was charged with Simple Possession/Casual Exchange, which is listed as a misdemeanor. A warrant connected to the case listed a $2,500 bond.

🏫 CMCSS confirmed Watson was employed at Northwest High School during the 2024–2025 school year. The district also confirmed she resigned on the same day she was arrested and is no longer employed by CMCSS.

πŸ“Œ CMCSS stated that because Watson resigned, she waived any rights to due process through the school system. The district referred additional questions about the investigation to law enforcement and the District Attorney’s Office.

βš–οΈ The charge is an allegation. An arrest does not constitute a conviction, and Watson is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
